Vivacity Development set to Launch "EcoNigeria" Personal Climate Commitments pledge to Empower Nigerians in the Fight Against Climate Change

Vivacity Development a leading environmental advocacy organization, is excited to announce the launch of its groundbreaking initiative, "EcoNigeria: Personal Climate Commitments." This project is designed to engage and empower Nigerians to take individual action against climate change, fostering a culture of environmental responsibility and encouraging sustainable practices.


"EcoNigeria Pledge: Personal Climate Commitments" seeks to inspire and facilitate the creation of individualized climate pledges for Nigerians from all walks of life. By addressing the climate crisis at the personal level, this initiative aims to drive positive change and collectively combat climate change.


Project Objectives:

1. Increase Awareness:  Raise awareness and understanding of the climate crisis and its local implications in Nigeria.

2. Motivate Action:: Motivate Nigerians to commit to and actively pursue sustainable and eco-friendly practices in their daily lives.

3. Provide Platform:- Provide a platform for Nigerians to create and publicly sign their own individualized climate pledges.

Project Activities: will include

- Nationwide awareness campaigns, workshops, and educational programs

- Collaboration with local experts, environmental organizations, and government agencies

- Development of an online platform and mobile application for creating and signing climate pledges

- Implementation of a monitoring and tracking system to measure progress

- Organization of regional and local events to encourage participation


Expected Outcomes:

- Increased awareness of climate change among Nigerians

- Higher percentage of Nigerians engaging in sustainable practices

- Collection of individualized climate pledges addressing diverse environmental issues

- Reduction in carbon emissions and environmental impact
